A Mosque of the Bani Dinar Clan
Bani Dinar was a sub-clan of the Khazraj. The historians of Medina mention a mosque of the Bani Dinar where the Prophet ﷺ is said to have prayed. (As-Samhudi · Wafa' al-Wafa) The Mosque Al-Manaratain, "the Mosque of the Two Minarets", is named after its two minarets.
Tradition of the Sîrah
Tradition reports that the Prophet ﷺ prayed in this mosque. Like many small neighborhood mosques in Medina, it preserves the memory of a prophetic presence without being tied to a specific famous event.
