MASJID AL-MANARATAIN (BANI DINAR)

The Mosque of the Two Minarets.

A Mosque of the Bani Dinar Clan

Bani Dinar was a sub-clan of the Khazraj. The Prophet ﷺ visited their neighborhood and prayed there multiple times. The Mosque Al-Manaratain — "the Mosque of the Two Minarets" — is named for its distinctive architecture. (As-Samhudi · Wafa' al-Wafa)

Tradition of the Sîrah

Tradition reports that the Prophet ﷺ prayed in this mosque. Like many small neighborhood mosques in Medina, it preserves the memory of a prophetic presence without being tied to a specific famous event.
