A project dedicated to conveying Islamic history through the holy sites of Saudi Arabia — so that every pilgrim, traveler, and curious individual can walk in the footsteps of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Before visiting Mecca or Medina, how many pilgrims know the history of the places they tread? Masjid Al-Haram, Al-Baqi, the Battle of Badr, Masjid Quba… each stone carries a story that cannot be understood without context.
Visit Arabia was born from this observation: to make Islamic history accessible, through video and geolocated routes, to transform each visit into a conscious spiritual journey.
Each site is documented based on the classical sources of prophetic biography — Ibn Hisham, Ibn Kathir, Sahih Al-Bukhari — and presented clearly, accessibly, and verified.
Every piece of information is verified against recognized sources from the Islamic tradition.
Designed to be used on-site, on the go, with or without a connection.
Essential routes are free. The Premium option funds content creation.
This project is made for the community, with the hope that it serves as a Sadaqa Jariya.
All religious texts (invocations, hadiths, Quranic citations) are verified from the following references:
• The Holy Quran (authentic Arabic text, Hamidullah translation)
• Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim (the two reference collections)
• Sunan Abû Dâwûd, Tirmidhî, Nasâ'î, Ibn Mâja
• Converging opinions of the 4 Sunni legal schools (Hanafî, Mâlikî, Shâfiʿî, Hanbalî)
• Prophetic biography: Ibn Hisham, Ibn Kathîr
