The mosque next to Hamza
This mosque is located in close proximity to the traditional tomb of Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib (رضي الله عنه) — the Master of Martyrs.
It was built as a memorial site for visitors coming to honor Hamza and the 70 martyrs of Uhud, and to be able to pray after the visit.
The hadith of Hamza
"Hamza is the master of martyrs with Allah on the Day of Resurrection." (At-Tabarani)
Etiquette of the visit
When you visit this mosque:
1. Pray two rakats
2. Visit the tomb of Hamza without elevating it to the status of worship
3. Make supplications for the martyrs
4. Reflect on the sacrifice of the Lion of Allah
