Umar in Defense of Medina
This mosque, within the complex of the seven mosques of Khandaq, marks the position of Umar ibn al-Khattab during the siege.
Umar had such a reputation as a formidable warrior that his mere presence on a section of the trench was enough to deter enemy cavalry attacks.
The Hadith about Umar and Satan
